Custom Modded Server with ATLauncher problem

Hi,

     I gave my friends the mods folder from my instance to put in theie game folder and it starts up for them just fine. I made a server for it and I can join in and it runs great. Only problem is, when my friends join the server they get terrible framerate down in the single digits and it's unplayable for them. We just came off of a huge 260 mod server and their performance was fine. It just doesn't make sense that my performance would double to like 200 and theirs would totally tank to unplayable levels. Has anyone ever heard of this?
